We had an editorial shoot entitled #SuperProfesh in which we highlighted various powerful women and their fashion choices, their inspiration, and what made them tick.
We went to scout Amy’s space ahead of time and get to know her a little before we profiled her. She was a self-described retro space-age lover, a truly unique matchmaker in the more conservative market that existed in NYC. I wanted to showcase who she was and I took inspiration from her art gallery, space age, sci-fi, and the outfits she chose to represent her and her fashion. This informed many of my design decisions, direction, and photo processing style decisions that I made.
